Travel Hack a Business Trip to Vegas

You might be headed to Las Vegas for New Media Expo (NMX), the yearly gathering of blogger big shots, internet guru’s and media friends.

If you’re like me you love to travel hack a business trip and add on a day or two before or after to maximize your fun since you already have to put out the business expense.

Downtown Las Vegas has become a hub for technology and entrepreneurship since the relocation of Zappos to the area and Tony Hsieh announcing his commitment to invest in the community now known as the Downtown Project.

Here are a few places that you make want to expand your trip to see, lounge around, shop, work or play:

Container Park: It’s exactly what you think, a park made from shipping containers. This cool little nook is loaded with shops, restaurants and wait for it, a treehouse.  707 Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101

InNevation Center: Looking for a cool off-site site spot to work or hold an event the InNevation Center is a local workspace with a lot of buzz. The space comprises 40,000+ square feet of flexible office space, meeting venues, and state-of-the-art event facilities.  6795 Edmond St, Las Vegas, NV 89118
